SENTRE has acquired, developed and/or operated projects throughout the West Coast totaling more than 10 million square feet and $4B in transactional volume.
Doug Arthur, President & CEO of SENTRE, leads the company’s vertically integrated investment platform, sets the strategic vision for the firm and is active in the company’s investments, development, joint ventures, capital markets activities and all aspects of the firm’s operations. Doug also leads the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to leading the company, Doug founded SENTRE Living, the company’s multi-family platform, that focuses on acquiring and developing apartment communities throughout the Western United States.
Doug graduated from Harvard Business School’s OPM Executive Education program and received a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. Doug also graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he earned a B.A. in Psychology and Art History and was the captain of their Division I water polo team.
Doug is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and sits on the board of directors and chairs the investment committee for Vesta, a publicly traded industrial real estate firm headquartered in Mexico City, chairs the board of directors and executive committee for Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation, and sits on the board of directors for the San Diego Regional EDC. Doug also sits on the board of trustees for The Bishop’s School and Policy Advisory Board for the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego. He is also a former San Diego Chapter board member of the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties (NAIOP).
Doug and his family are active in the community in support of Rady Children’s Hospital, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and Voices for Children on behalf of the annual Nikki St. Germain Memorial Golf Tournament which has raised over $1M to date.
Doug and his wife Remley have four children.
