Congratulations – to the Arthur and Yates families for the Nikki St. Germain Memorial Golf Tournament’s (NJS) impressive achievement. At the Rady Children’s Hospital Instrumental Evening event on Saturday, September 22, 2018 to celebrate the instrumental impact of philanthropy, the NJS Golf Tournament was honored to receive an award for Outstanding Community Fundraising Partner.
We were selected by members of the Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation board as the winner for reaching a tremendous milestone at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. The criteria for the honor was as follows:
- Outstanding Community Partner: Rady Children’s acknowledges the dedication of the community fundraising partners nominated. Each of the partners has long-standing histories fundraising for Rady Children’s, ranging from 12 to 29 years of giving. Their loyalty and generosity has been instrumental in engaging community members and providing critical philanthropic support.
Bridgett Brown, the Auxiliary President, acknowledged Nikki St. Germain, Celebration of Champions, the family, the tournament and total for fundraising, and the creation of the recent endowment in support of Psychosocial Services at the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. With the NJS Golf Tournament’s involvement and overall support, it was made clear to the committee that NJS was the perfect choice!
