Founded in 1989, SENTRE is a vertically integrated real estate investment management firm headquartered in San Diego, California, with extensive experience in industrial, office, retail, and multi-family properties. SENTRE has acquired, developed, and/or operated projects throughout the Western United States, with experience totaling more than 12 million square feet and $4.6 billion in transactional volume. SENTRE also co-founded Vesta (NYSE: VTMX), a publicly traded industrial real estate company operating in Mexico, with a portfolio of over 45 million square feet valued at $4.2 billion (as of 3/31/2026).

Sara Padilla, Portfolio Manager, Living at SENTRE, oversees the day to day operations of the living portfolio across San Diego and Portland.

Sara began her career in multifamily property management in Phoenix before relocating to San Diego, where she advanced through a series of progressive leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Community Manager at Greystar, where she managed a 617-unit high-rise in downtown San Diego. She was recognized as a Certified RISE Mentor and named an ACM Rising Star, and was nominated for both the company’s Accountability Award and ACM of the Year Award.

Sara earned an Associate of Applied Science in Organizational Management from Phoenix College and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing & Advertising from Grand Canyon University. She has also been featured by Influential Women, a media platform that highlights the stories and leadership of accomplished women across industries.

Sara lives in San Diego with her partner, Tara, and their two dogs, Max and Tina.
