Founded in 1989, SENTRE is a full service real estate investment and development firm which represents a broad range of interests, from large institutions to individual investors. The name SENTRE (pronounced “sentry”) is an acronym for Stewards and ENTrepreneurs of Real Estate, and reflects a common vision of providing superlative service to investors, owners and tenants while remaining at the cutting edge of business and technology.

 

Our firm has extensive investment and development experience in office, multi-family, retail and industrial properties. Through various structures, SENTRE has acquired, developed and/or operated projects in California totaling more than 10 million square feet and $4B in transactional volume. In addition, SENTRE co-founded Vesta (BMV: VESTA), an industrial real estate company operating in Mexico with a current portfolio of almost 25 million square feet valued in excess of $1 billion.

 

As an advisor, SENTRE offers investors a comprehensive spectrum of services that include acquisitions and dispositions, asset and property management, leasing oversight, project management, project accounting, and technology solutions via our affiliated company, Bandwidth Now.

 

Today, SENTRE currently owns and/or operates over 2 million square feet of commercial real estate and almost 500 apartments with an aggregate portfolio value over $600 million. We provide major institutions, individual investors and local firms with a comprehensive range of real estate services that enable clients to maximize asset value and minimize transactional or occupancy costs in a way that is consistent with their strategic, operating and financial goals.

 

SENTRE is headquartered in downtown San Diego with a regional office in Orange County.

 

INVESTMENT CRITERIA

SENTRE is a vertically integrated investment and development platform with the capability to add value in multiple capacities, sectors and markets and in partnership with both institutional and private clients. We pursue projects in urban and/or urban-like locations (“surban”) that are walkable, amenity rich and located near transportation, education and job hubs. Over nearly 30 years we have developed deep investment, development and operating expertise across office, multi-family, retail and industrial properties in California and Mexico. Our current strategic focus is value added office and multi-family in Southern California with an expanding interest throughout California and major West Coast markets.
