Chris Carter, Director of Investments, leads the investment and transactional services team overseeing more than $450M in company acquisitions and dispositions since 2014.  Responsible for sourcing and underwriting new acquisitions, and overseeing all commercial leasing, Chris is also active in procuring financing, structuring joint venture partnerships, and coordinating development and redevelopment activities.

Prior to joining SENTRE in 2014, Chris was at Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate as an exclusive sales and leasing agent for retail centers throughout San Diego County owned by both institutional and private clients. Chris was also active in retail tenant representation.

Chris holds a Master of Science (Real Estate Major) from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics Major) and Bachelor of Arts (Politics Major) from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia).

Chris is a licensed California real estate Broker, a board member of NAIOP’s San Diego Chapter, a member of the Downtown San Diego Partnership and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and actively involved in the University of San Diego’s Mentorship Program.  Chris and his wife Lauren have two children.
